“Emotions@Work”
Charlotte’s resident Emotions Expert, David Straub, of Emotional Alignment, has created a new approach to understanding how our mind works. He offers common sense guidance to local executives and workers, helping them navigate challenges at work or about their career using his collaboration-based system, the 4 Social Emotions Framework. The concept that emotions don’t belong at work is not only impossible to achieve, it is counterproductive. They are what enable collaboration in the first place and in fact, any company that can harness their influence, can gain a competitive advantage unlike any other.
